New Delhi, October 23 (UNI) The government has taken another step towards doubling the income of farmers by raising the minimum support price of rabi crops for the year 2020-21. The resort price of wheat has been increased to Rs 85 and mustard price has been increased by Rs 225. The decision of this order was approved at a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this meeting, Minister of Information and Broadcasting published.
The prices of rabi crops have been increased for the year 2020-21, Javadekar said. The resort price of wheat increased by Rs 85 to Rs 1925, which was increased by 85 rupees to 1525 rupees, mustard price increased by 225 rupees to 4425, gram price by Rs 255 and rupees by Rs. 4800 rupees.
He said that this would give farmers 50 to 109 percent profit on cost. This will benefit 8 crore farmers.
