Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that I will never allow electronic (e) cigarette companies to sell their products in Turkey. Speaking at a ceremony in Istanbul regarding smokers, Tayyab Erdogan said, "I have ordered the Minister of Commerce to not allow electronic cigarettes in Turkey because the poisoning was making the tobacco companies richer."

According to the World Health Organization data, in 2016, 27 percent of the population of Turkey was 15-year-old, while cigarettes were smoked in 2010, while in 2010, 31 percent of youths smoked.

The Turkish president said that conscientious Muslims hate alcohol and cigarettes, urged the Turkish people to stop smoking and drinking alcohol and to drink our tea without smoking.

It should be noted that in recent times, Australia, Brazil, India and Japan have banned or restricted their electronic cigarettes, while the US has planned to remove various e-cigarette brands from the market.
